Band is for everyone! At DCA, every 5th grader gets to take Exploratory Beginning Band, giving them the opportunity to learn on a school provided instrument and experience Band. But all of DCA’s Bands are open to everyone. There are NO ‘cuts’ based on performance skill, but Band does require commitment, effort, and teamwork. The Wildcat Band works hard, makes music every day, serves others, and has a whole lot of fun.
DCA Wildcat Band Mission Statement:
The Wildcat Band is a unified team of unique individuals dedicated to the fundamentals of music, marching, leadership, and truth in order to serve, support, and entertain their community with excellence in a manner that brings glory to God.
