We are excited about our campus locations for the 2020/2021 school year as we rebuild our PreSchool and Elementary Wing and add a Performing Arts Space to our campus. The renderings you see on our main page represent our building plans. More up-to-date information is available on our website and via Facebook Videos with Headmaster, Dr. Keith Singer.
We encourage you to visit our campuses virtually by watching our Virtual Open House if you do not wish to tour in-person at this time.
Grades 6 through 12 are meeting daily on our Main Campus
Grades K through 5 are meeting daily on our First Baptist Church at Donelson Campus
PreSchool through PreKindergarten are meeting daily on our Hermitage Hills Baptist Church Campus

The Admission Process
The Admissions Office at Donelson Christian Academy is dedicated to assisting families through the following steps for enrollment:
Open House/Curriculum Previews give you the opportunity to meet our staff, faculty and administration as we showcase our campus and present a preview of our curriculum from preschool through twelfth grade. We will resume these events as soon as it is safe and practical. Until then, please view our Virtual Open House video.
We also encourage interested students to Shadow for a Day when they are paired with a student who has similar interests. This will give prospective students a feel for our culture and experience a typical day at DCA. We are currently unable to provide shadow days for prospective students due to COVID-19 concerns for everyone's health. We will resume Shadow Days as soon as it's safe and practical.

An Online Application for Admission must be completed for each prospective student wanting to begin the DCA admissions process. A $75 fee is required for each application. To apply, please click the "Apply Now" link on our website.
Pre-K through 1st Grade: To be considered for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, or first grade, students must be 4, 5, or 6 years old respectively by August 15 of the year they plan to enroll.
10th through 12th Grade: In addition to the application, all students applying for grades 10 through 12 must upload a transcript and report card or progress report from their most recent school.
A copy of the student’s most recent progress report, report card, and achievement test scores must be provided to complete an application file.
9th through 12th Grade: In addition to the above documents, an official copy of the student’s official transcripts, including GPA and course grades must be submitted to the Admissions Office. Students will not be accepted without an official transcript.
Pre-K through Kindergarten: One (1) recommendation must be completed and mailed directly to the DCA Admissions Office by the student’s current preschool teacher, daycare worker, Sunday school teacher, or someone other than the parents who has worked with the student.
1st through 12th Grade: Three (3) recommendations must be completed and submitted through our online application system.
Student Testing and Interview
Pre-K through Kindergarten: Once the application, recommendation, and applicable academic records have been received, the Admissions Office will call the family to schedule a readiness assessment and an interview which must include at least one parent or guardian.
1st through 12th Grade: Once the application, recommendations, and applicable academic records have been received, the Admissions Office will schedule an appointment for prospective student testing and an interview which must include at least one parent or guardian.
Applicants will be notified in writing, beginning mid-March, once a decision has been made by the Admissions Committee. Upon acceptance, the enrollment contract and non-refundable registration deposit are due within two weeks of notification or sooner if the school year has begun.
