Our purpose is to provide secure, dependable, and forward-thinking technology solutions that empower educators to create meaningful learning experiences, equip students with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world, and support every area of the Academy with efficient and effective systems. Policies


Software

  • FACTS (formerly RenWeb) serves as DCA's comprehensive Student Information System and family communication platform. It gives parents secure access to grades, attendance, report cards, progress reports, assignments, discipline records, school announcements, and important demographic information. FACTS strengthens the partnership between home and school by providing families with timely, accurate information that supports student academic progress, accountability, and communication throughout the school year.
  • Securly is DCA's web filtering and student safety platform that helps provide a secure online learning environment both on campus and on school-issued devices at home. It protects students by blocking inappropriate or harmful content while allowing access to educational resources needed for classroom instruction. Securly supports DCA's commitment to responsible digital citizenship, student well-being, and focused learning by helping minimize distractions and promoting safe internet use.
  • Clever serves as DCA's secure single sign-on portal, providing students with one location to access many of the digital learning resources used throughout the school day. By reducing the number of usernames and passwords students must remember, Clever allows teachers to spend more time on instruction and less on technical troubleshooting. It provides students with quick, reliable access to curriculum resources while helping maintain a secure and consistent digital learning environment.
  • Google Classroom is DCA's primary digital classroom platform for middle and upper school instruction. Teachers use Google Classroom to distribute assignments, organize class materials, provide feedback, and facilitate communication with students. The platform promotes organization, collaboration, and timely access to learning resources while helping students develop important digital skills that prepare them for college and future careers.
