The Academy employs a full-time college counselor who works with families throughout the college admissions process. Beginning in ninth grade, students are encouraged to develop a portfolio that will reflect their desire to challenge themselves in the greatest possible manner. The College Counseling Office works with freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors in group settings, providing general college information and opportunities for goal-setting. A Junior Information Night is held each year to help families in their college search process. During the junior and senior years, the counselor works closely with individual students and their families to facilitate the process of seeking God's guidance in finding the right college or university choice for each student. From the initial meeting to the final college selection in the spring of senior year, the college counselor is available to the student and his or her family for guidance and support.
