Congratulations to the boy's basketball team as they beat Franklin Road Academy in the finals of the Region Tournament 42-41 on Saturday, February 18. The team overcame a tough FRA defense to win their first Region Tournament Championship since 1998! Carson Outlaw led DCA with 19 points followed by Josh Erickson's 10 points. Erickson had two key free throws late to tie the score. Collin Johnston hit a free throw with 1.2 seconds left for the win. Josh Erickson was named to the Regular Season All-Region Team as well as the All-Tournament Team. Carson Outlaw was named the MVP of the Region Tournament for his outstanding play throughout the tournament. Congratulations to Head Coach Presley Ramsey, who picked up his 516th career win with the victory, and the entire coaching staff, Stan Dismuke, Mike Loftis and Bret Schierling.

DCA's Legacy Show Choir will be performing their show, "A Flood of Reflections", for the school at 11:10 on Friday, February 24. They will also be performing that evening at DCA for an "invited" dress rehearsal at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, February 25, Legacy will be competing at the Music City Show Shoppe Show Choir Competition. They will perform at 11:10 at the Massey Auditorium on the Belmont Campus.

On February 23, preschool - fifth grade students will have class pictures made.
