Middle and high school students are excited about the new 3D printer that was partially provided by the Annual Fund. This is the Academy’s second 3D printer. With this new technology, students can create sculptures, mechanical artwork or even cast molds and then print the designs directly from their iPads.

The varsity girls soccer season is in full swing! Before school started the team went to Camp Hillmont for a few days to spend time with each other and their coaches. While there, they participated in team building activities in preparation for the upcoming season. This year’s seniors are Amelia Collins, Reagan Feczko, Maria Frazier, Faith Gober and Katelynn Matheson. The team travels to White House tonight to take on White House Heritage High School at 7:00 p.m. Come out and cheer our Wildcats on to a victory!
This morning, DCA faculty and staff members gathered to worship and pray for the upcoming school year. It was a wonderful time of focusing on this year’s theme verse and how it can apply to our lives as well as to the upcoming school year. A special thanks to The Fellowship at Two Rivers for hosting us again this year!
Each school year new faces can be seen in the DCA hallways. This year we also have several new faculty and staff members. The next time you’re on campus, please take time to say hello to the new members of our Wildcat family. More new faculty and staff members will be featured in the coming days!
Kindergarten students started school on Thursday, August 9. Students were excited to start their year and have enjoyed all the activities teachers have planned for them, including learning about the letter A. Everyone was smiling at lunch as they ate and chatted with new friends! We are happy to have these young students and their families as the newest members of the DCA family!
This year’s theme verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. Students will hear throughout the year the importance of relying on God’s wisdom to help direct our paths. A great reminder of this truth can now be seen as you enter the Academy. What a great sight for our students to see every morning as they begin their day!
The Wildcat Marching Band has had a great week at camp. We can't wait to unveil this year's show to everyone!
