The DCA Theater Department will present The Diary of Anne Frank on Thursday, September 18 and Saturday, September 20. Set in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, the play is a story of a young Jewish girl and her family who seek to survive the dangers that surround them. It is an adaptation of Anne Frank's book, The Diary of a Young Girl. The novel is a part of the 8th grade curriculum so many of our students will be familiar with the story. If you have any questions please contact Don Griffiths, DCA Theater Director, at email@example.com.
The junior class would like to invite everyone to come out this Friday night, September 19, to enjoy a pre-game touchdown dinner in our Wildcat Café. The dinner is sponsored by Famous Dave's located in Hermitage. The meal will be served between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and the cost is $5.00 a person or $20 per family. The menu will include pulled pork or roasted chicken, green beans, garlic mashed potatoes, rolls, homemade desserts and a drink. This is a great opportunity to fellowship with other members of the DCA family before watching our Wildcats take the field!
Our Student of the Week for September 15 is Abby McCormick. Abby has been at DCA since kindergarten and has a 4.32 GPA. She is also the chaplain of Legacy and a member of the International Thespian Society.
