Mrs. Prentice and Mrs. Schierling will be hosting parent meetings on Tuesday, September 1 and Thursday, September 3 in the Lecture Hall beginning at 7:45 a.m. to explain the ACT Aspire Test scores. The meeting will last about 30 minutes, but you may pick up your child's scores and leave if you cannot stay. To help split the groups more evenly, it would be helpful if 7th and 8th grade parents could attend the Tuesday session and 9th and 10th grade parents attend Thursday's session if possible. If you need to be at the opposite session, your child's scores will be at each meeting. The information provided will be the same at both sessions. If you cannot make it to either morning session, we will mail your student's scores to you.
The DCA Consignment Sale is September 16 - 18. The sale is DCA PTO's largest fundraiser earning roughly $60,000 for our academy each year. With this money, the PTO is able to fund various projects throughout the academy for our students, faculty and building. This sale requires 250 volunteers to make it happen successfully. Your PTO needs you!! Working a shift or two at the consignment sale is a great way to meet new people and start building relationships. Also, for every four hour shift you volunteer, your name goes into a drawing for one of these two great prizes - a $100.00 Gift Card of your choosing (some restrictions apply) or 100% of your earnings from the sale. To sign up to work a shift, please visit dcapto.com.
